Most kitchen cloths are made of microfibre, which is a synthetic product based on polyester and nylon (some also include viscose, which is derived from wood pulp), not to mention the plastic packaging they come in! This all means that these cloths shed microfibres when they are washed and won't break down when they are thrown away.

This set of compostable sponge cloths from EcoLiving is made in Europe, plastic-free and made of natural renewable resources. They are very absorbent, durable and reusable.  

Made with 70% cellulose and 30% cotton. 100% natural sponge cloths. Certified according to Oeko-Tex standard 100. The cloths do not emit micro-plastic pollution, unlike classic sponge cloths and are great for cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and all around the house.

How to use

Wet the sponge cloth then squeeze it and use for cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and all around the house, or hands while out. Rinse the cloth after use.

Dishwasher safe or use washing machine. The cloths can be washed at 30-60 degrees, line dry. Reuse over and over again, then home compostable after use.
