Set of wooden colour pencils shaped like a natural twig, comes in a set of 10 colours.
These twig crayons are taken from the branches of the Tamarind tree, which is common in Thailand and S.E.Asia. The trees are grown for their fruit. After it has been harvested, the branches are cut and left to dry in the sun. They are then drilled and the pencil colour inserted, though not to the full length of the crayon as this is not possible. A ‘waste’ product, great to teach young children about the natural world
